Frame in hardwood, fill in high-density foam, upholstery hand-stitched and pulled tight. The fabric is cut from one bolt so the run reads as one tone across all cushions. Cushions soften in the first month and stay there for ten years. Anchors the room without announcing itself. A sofa to live in front of, not around.
