Hardwood frame. High-density foam. Linen, leather, or bouclé pulled over the top. Foam is layered: dense base, softer top, fiber wrap. The seat doesn't bottom out. Cushions soften in the first month and stay there for ten years. Built for the third coffee, not the first. Built to keep its shape past the warranty.
